#POD XT LIVE PATCHES FREE HOW TO#
The model packs had new factory presets (to download and replace), so unless you can teach me how to play a song on the 'Useless Alien' tone (fun, wacky, but overall useless as the name suggested), and some of the other random ones. Bought a used Line 6 POD xt live couple of weeks ago and have been messing around with the settings and Im starting to getting to like it. The 'FX Junkie' is cool fun effects, but I've never really played much music with most of them, it's more play around or to mix in. The 'Metal Shop' makes a difference for rock/metal, this is worth it and what I was after! I guess in the long run it saves on buying a number of pedals to get the right sound. Tones/Patches are in a zipped folder, all files are in '.l6t' format and ready to use immediately. Getting those really boosted (what was already on there but you needed to buy an expensive key to unlock ) high gain, more amps and effects. so I finally decided to splash out for the model packs. It was still quite limited even tweaking them. Well honestly 70% of tones available for the Pod XT kinda suck, the other 30% are real gems or sound like the actual band! So I've been searching for some better tones to full in my collection.
